It was a spectacular Saturday evening, when the super talented students of Salwan Montessori School celebrated their Grand Annual Day function on 18th March 2023. It was a complete treat to watch these tiny tots perform in front of the huge gathering with so much confidence and energy.

The evening began by welcoming all the eminent dignitaries by the School Head Ms. Sona Gombar. The chief guest and guest of honour were Dr. Roma Kumar and Ms Moonmoon Paul Roy for the event.Dr Roma Kumar addressed the gathering and inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.

The extravaganza began with the Annual School report by the school head Ms Sona Gombar followed by Ganesh Vandana and offering prayers to the almighty. The school then presented their mesmerizing 7 wonders who left the audience awestruck by their amazing performances showcasing all possible talents. Then began the Mega event of the day ‘SOCH’ – Be the change. It is a very noble step towards sustainable development that children at this young age are being given exposure to the importance of sustainable living and the need to conserve and preserve our natural resources. The children showcased the need of change and a sustainable living to protect the future.

 The audience was spellbound by the confidence with which the children presented the show and brought forth such relevant and burning topics. The Chairman Salwan Education Trust also planted a Gulmohar tree taking a step in this direction and named it as ‘ ALAONI’ which means heavenly messenger.  The mind-blowing performances got a standing ovation and too much praise from the audience. The parents could not control their excitement and kept cheering for their children. After the two hours long performance the evening ended with a valedictory address by the School Director Maj. General Sanjay Agrawal and extending his warm regards to everyone present at the Annual Function followed by National anthem.
