A training session on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid was organised for the students of classes VIII-XI by G.D. Salwan Public School. Trained medical professionals from a prominent healthcare service demonstrated the ways to administer basic first aid and CPR. The session’s objective was to provide basic knowledge and understanding of first aid as an invaluable resource for students. They learnt the skill to address physical health concerns like head injuries, nose bleeds, cuts and bruises, seizures, burns, difficulty in breathing, heartaches, fractures, etc. at a primary level of care. A demonstration on how to execute the correct steps of giving CPR to a person in need was also given by the team. It was a great learning experience for students.
