DYNAMIX-2011: The students of Classes XI and XII made us proud in the Fest DYNAMIX-2011 at Ramjas School, R.K. Puram. The achievements are as follows:-

BIO-TECHNOLOGY CONCLAVE–III: The school was represented by Mitushi Jain Class XII and Richa Saraf Class XII in the Bio-technology Conclave –III held at Manav Sthali School organised on 30^th November 2011.  In the event 25 top schools of Delhi participated. SPS received the Finalist Trophy.

ALL INDIA INTER SCHOOL MATHS TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION TEST: Students of SPS participated in All India Inter School Maths Talent Search Examination Test.  Following were the results:-

CENTRE FOR SCIENCE AND ENVIRONMENT GOBAR TIMES AWARD:  The school bagged the Prestigious Centre for Science and Environment Gobar Times Award for the year 2010-2011, for its environment initiatives. It was rated as the Best Change Maker School of Delhi and felicitated by Smt. Sheila Dixit, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi.

CSE PROGRAM:  At the National Level, the school was also adjudged second out of 15,000 schools, which were involved in the CSE Program from all over India.

PARIVARTAN CAMPAIGN: Bagged First position under the project PRAVAH for the PARIVARTAN Campaign & all Eco-club Activities. A cash award of Rs.25, 000/ was presented.

TETRA PAK COLLECTIONS: Bagged third prize for making maximum Tetra Pak collections.

GERMAN BASED PROJECT:  In India only our school has been selected as partner to the German based Project undertaken by Volkswagen Company on Sustainability and Environment. 12 students have been selected for the same. Out of which 6 students will get an opportunity to visit Wolfsburg, Germany for Climate Summit and the other six would participate in the European Youth Summit on Climate in October 2012.
 

WORLD FOOD DAY: Celebrated the World Food Day on 16^th October 2011 by holding a special assembly and organizing a Slogan Writing Competition. Entries were also forwarded to World Food Programme. Pallavi Bhasin of Class X received the Award for Best Slogan. 13 students received Consolation Prizes.

“PRODIGY”: A group of seven students participated in “Prodigy” organized on 19^th October 2011 by   Shaeed Sukhdev College. Wineeta Paul of Class XII was awarded the Best Interjector Award.

COMM QUEST: Our team of Yukti Kumar, Avneesh and Khushali of Class XI and Aisharwarya of Class XII bagged the second position in Comm Quest at Amity International, Vasundhra Enclave organised on 19^th October 2011.

CBSE CLUSTER XII ATHLETIC MEET: Hosted the prestigious CBSE Cluster XII Athletic Meet from 21^st -23^rd November 2011.  More than 84 schools participated in the event.  Our school won six medals.
