The Orientation Programme 2012: Orientation programme for parents of newly inducted students was conducted on 31^st March 2012. The parents were welcomed by the Head, Mrs. Anuradha Mathur and briefed about various school procedures, policies and school culture. The glorious events showcasing the children’s talent were shown through videos. A senior faculty member gave tips for adjustment in the new environment, the subject teachers briefed them of their course content followed by the class teacher s interaction in their respective classrooms. Parents were taken around the school premises. Handouts and almanac were handed over to the parents by the Class Teachers.

Mother’s Day 2012: Students of classes Nursery & KG celebrated Mother’s Day to strengthen the loving bond between the child and mother. Through stories, cards, little gifts   they were told the importance of loving and respecting their Mother.

Earth Day 2012: Students of classes Nursery and KG made drawings, performed activities like hand printing, dabbing, finger printing etc where each child participated with lot of interest and learnt about this important day . The children were made to write Slogans like “Save Me” and “Save Our Earth” in their notebooks as a part of Earth Day Celebrations.

Summer Fiesta 2012: The children welcomed the summer Season with fun-filled activities celebrating in the Summer Fiesta through different activities like: colouring summer theme worksheets on the first day, wearing goggles, hats, etc. on the second day (things we wear), lemonade making Party on the third (summer drinks), a fruit chaat party on the fourth (summer fruits), and Water play using sprinklers were enjoyed on the fifth day.

Story time- Panchatantra stories were narrated in the assemblies with enactments by teachers to instill values. Children enjoyed the tales. Art /craft activities related to the stories further enhanced the learning.
