Paying tribute to his Alma-mater Prof. Ashish Nanda reminisces:

“I clearly remember my teachers – Mr. Nandwani, Mr. Mathur, Mrs. Prashar, Mrs. Vig. I also remember principal’s assistant – Moti very well. He was always smiling and helpful. “

“ I remember my Chemistry teacher – Mr. Nandwani. He kept his lab open through summers of my IX, X, XI, XIIgrade and asked me to come in and experiment all summer long. During XI grade he would encourage me to come an hour early and do some lab experiments before school began. He came from a far off locality, but such was the dedication that he was always there. “

“It was not just in academics, but also in other activities that the school and teachers helped the students.  I participated in elocution and debate contest. My teachers would put in hours and days to  prepare me.”

“I have fond memories of the games we used to play in the school ground during recess break. I remember our annual sports day with great deal of nostalgias. It was a day of fun and  frolic. Never a good sports person I remember that on one particular sports meet, our 4x100 relay team was one person short since one of the runners had fallen sick. I was the house captain. Unable to find anyone else, I offered gamely to run one leg. To this day, I believe I was the sole reason for our team finishing in third place instead of  first. But, the trophy is still very dear to my heart.”

Such ties and bonding is what our alumni cherish.
