Shri Anup Kumar Biswas

Awarded the Delhi State Award Fellowship (Cultural Dept. Govt. Of India). He also got University scholarship (R.B. University, Kolkata). He has to his credit five solo shows and more than 30 group shows all over India. His next solo show will be held in Jahangir Art Gallery, Mumbai in 2011.

Received President’s Award in year 2007. He has also been awarded Junior and Senior Fellowship from Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Lalit Kala Academy Research Scholarship, Research Fellowships from Deptt. Of Culture, Ministry of Assam. He has to his credit many Solo and Group Exhibitions at various art galleries in India and abroad for the last 10 years.

 
Mrs. Rekha Lalla

Commitment and efforts for the cause of environment has been recognized and appreciated by a number of NGOs and Center for Science and Environment. She is selected as the Indian delegate in the Terra Madre organizing committee in Turin, Italy held from 21st to 24th October, 2010.

 Adjudged as the ‘Best Sanskrit Teacher’ twice in year 2001 and 2002 and 2008  by the Sanskrit Academy. She has also been awarded the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for best performance in teaching of Sanskrit by the Delhi Government in 2003.

Music and Dance Faculty

Song showcasing the spirit of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation was composed by our music faculty. The same song is selected by Central Board of Secondary Education to promote Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE)).
 

The lyrics of CWG song- : “Aaya Do Hazar Dus..” has been written by our Music and Dance Faculty. The chorus of the song has been sung by our students. The song has been chosen by Doordarshan as filler on DD Sports Channel.

'Physical Education Primary Level Project' was introduced by CBSE in collaboration with British Council and UNICEF. Mr. Sanjeev Dahiya, HOD, Physical Education, is one of the members of the team.

 
Community Service

School is the recipient of National Bal Bhavan’s National Values Award awarded on 14 November 2010 by Sh. Kapil Sibal, the honourable Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India. This award is in recognition with the commendable work done by School  in inculcating values among children through various programmes and activities.

Represented Delhi State and participated in National Masters Athletics Championship in Hammer Throw event held at Chennai in February. 2010 and secured 1st position.

He has also been selected for the Indian Masters Athletics Team which will participate in Asian masters Athletics Championship scheduled to be held in Malaysia in December. 2010.
