EDUCATION FOR ALL

Education is the basic necessity for all. Education has now become the major interest for every part of the society. It leads to the social development of the society. It also leads to the personal development of the individual. If one gets good education, he will be able to get a good job. He will be able to able to earn a lot and earn better for his living.

In many parts of the country, girls are still considered to be a liability for the society. Many societies are still prevailing with the old thoughts of sati, child marriage. They are not provided with proper education. Since, they are no asset to family, they are considered to be the homemakers. In some societies, they are still considered to be a boon. Hence, every next day, we hear about the cases of girls’ abortion or death of a new born baby. But now, by government’s awareness, it has declined a lot.

With the upcoming generations, thoughts regarding education are varying a lot. Now, girls are on an equal footing with men. Now, every parent wants his child to get the best education and be a good human. “Education is the thing that opens the mind of a person and expands it.” Earlier most of the people were having stereotyped thinking, but now it has changed a lot.

Education is simply the soul of the society as it passes from one generation to another. If the eldest person of the family is educated, he will get a good job and will be able to sustain his family well and get them educated.

Government must take actions towards ‘education of all.’  It must check that everybody gets a good education. Schemes like Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, CBSE scholarship to a girl child, government policy of giving free education seems to be fruitful decision for the society. Government has also made rights like Right to free education under fourteen year s of age and ban on child labour.

Albert Einstein said it rightly “Education is what remains when we have forgotten all that we have been taught.”
