- Cricket – The School team Won most of the championships in cricket namely Coco-Cola Cup, S.S.Khalsa Sisthani Cricket Tournment and Zonal Cricket Tournment.
- Mountaineering –The school excelled in 18th North Zone Sports Climbing Competition and 2nd Open Sports Climbing Competition. Abhishek Mehta of class XI won Silver Medal in Speed Climbing and Bronze in Boulering events. Suraj Juyal won Bronze Medal in Speed Climbing.
- Athletics – Pawan Kumar and Divas Chaudhary of class XI and Deepak Singh and Manoj Kumar of class XII won many medals in Zonal Level Races. Deepak Singh Bagged Gold and Manoj Kumar Silver in the Cross Country Run organized by Directorate of Education, Delhi State Government.

Cricket- Neha Bhargava of 7th A has been selected to play cricket at the national level in December for Delhi U-14.
- Shooting Competition : The All India G.V. Mawalankar shooting competition was held on 4th November, 2012 at Dekarni Singh shooting Range, Tuglakabad, New Delhi. Shivam Shukla of class 10th B secured 2nd position in 25 sports pistol.
- Shooting - Shivam Shukla of class 10th secured the 2nd position in the 10 meter Air Pistol Shooting Competition, for the under 19 age group organized at Dr.Karni Singh Shooting Range on 3rd August 2012.
- Zonal Table Tennis Tournament: On 23rd August 2012 Ishaan Kapoor, Atul Khandelwal, Kunal Atal and Meet Hirani of class XII participated in ‘Zonal Table Tennis Tournament’ organized by Manavsthali School R-Block in which 25 schools from Delhi and NCR participated. Our team stood third.
- Inter-Zonal Cricket match: The students played in Inter-Zonal cricket Match played between St Xavier Michel Patna and GD Salwan Schhol at Bharti College janakpuri In which Vipul manchanda was declared the best All rounder and he was awarded a medal.
- KALAVRIND An inter school on the spot painting competition for 2012 was held on 4th August 2012 at Delhi Police Public School in which Shruti Aggarwal of X class stood first in group D.

- Dikshima of class XI is a proud recipient of TUNZA Eco-Generation online Essay Competition on the topic “How climate change affects our life: climate change and my efforts towards a sustainable life”. She competed against 500 students across India. She would be felicitated on the 21st of January 2013 in the award ceremony to be held at Samsung Engineering India office at Delhi.
- At the NASA Olympiad 9 students won gold medal, 7 silver and 3 got bronze medal.
- Selection for 10th Vacation Programme Madhumita Patra got selected in 10th Vacation Programme conducted by The Department Of Environment, NCT of Delhi. She competed with approx. 3,000 bright students of various reputed schools of Delhi and NCR.

An initiative of Times of India and Nestle campaign for the importance of maternal and child nutrition during the first 1000 days of pregnancy, a Drawing and Coloring competition was conducted in the school on 7th August 2012 with the theme “Healthy babies, Happy India.” From all over the nation, out of 6500 entries, 500 best entries were chosen from various schools and out of those 500, best 50 entries were chosen from the school and displayed at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium on 19th August 2012.
- Two Pre-school Nursery children namely Ritisha Kumar (Nur. A) and Gunisha Malik (Nur.B) won 1st prize in inter-school competition held at N.K.Bagrodia School, Dwarka in enact-a-jingle category on 29th September 2012.
- National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) for classes III-V was held in the month of September. 3 students won the gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze. 3 students of Class V have been qualified for the II level of the Olympiad.
- Five students (Class V) attended Global Health Meet on health and hygiene, organized by Dettol and they all bagged GOLD medals. And they were named “Health Champions” on 27th September 2012 at Park Hotel, New Delhi.
- Nine girls from KG class participated in 'Parampara'. Inter School Classical Group Dance Competition on 5th October 2012 at Salwan Montessori School, Rajinder Nagar and won 3rd Prize (cash prize and trophy) out of 20 participating schools.

- 83 students from the school won medals in Swabhiman Sports Festival held at DDA Sports Complex, Rohini on 16th October 2012 where over 1600 students from 45 schools of Delhi participated. Our students won 19 Gold, 27 Silver and 37 Bronze Medals.
- National Science Olympiad (NSO) for classes III-V was held in the month of Novimber in which 3 students won gold medals. 7 student have been qualified for the II level of the Olympiad.

- 25th National Jeet-Kune-Do Championship organized by the Association of All India Jeet-Kune-Do Foundation was held at Indira Gandhi Stadium on 26th and 27th November 2012. Students from 19 states took part in the event. Eight students from our school too participated at the Sub – Junior level and won 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze medals.
- Ritisha Kumar (Nur. A) and Ananya Gera (Class I-B) won Consolation prize (a trophy each) in English Rhyme Inter School Competition held at Guru Tegh Bahadur 3rd Cenetary School, Mansarovar garden on 6th December 2012.

Salwan Public School, Sector-15, Gurgaon bagged the first position at national level sanitation competition organized by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
A total of 887 schools from across the country participated in the competition. State Level Yoga Championship
Modern Public School, Noida conducted 4th U.P. state Yoga Championship on 30th Nov. 2012 in which 14 students of our school participated. Nine students came out with the flying colours. They won the medals in the respective categories. In 12-15 years category, Harshit Tripathi and Nidhi Shree secured the First Position. Neha and Vedika in the same category got 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Akshita, Md. Abbas, Swati Singh, Mansi and Satvik also secured positions in their respective categories.
- National Yoga Championship
State Level Qualified Yoga Team of the school participated in the Nationals held at Faridabad Yoga Kendra where Nidhi Shree and Harshit Tripathi brought pride to School securing 1st and 2nd Positions respectively in the category of 12-15 years. In the category of 8-12 years Swati Singh and Satvik secured 2nd positions and Shubham Jain got 3rd position.

Our Students brought Laurels to the School when they secured First position in Nukkad Natak Competition based on the theme ‘Conserve the Environment’ conducted by SPS, Rajinder Nagar. In Painting Competition (Primary) our students Nyah Indu Rana and Anusha Goel also secured First Position. In category 'Middle', Danish Chaudhary, Deepanshu Chaudhary and Vashishth Shukla stood Third. In 'Best Out of Waste' Competition the school secured Third Position.
- Design For Change
A six days project starting from 20th Aug’12 “Design for Change” was undertaken in the Jahangir Puri Slum Area. Students along with three teachers went there to teach the unblessed small children. Nukkad Natak was presented there by our students on cleanliness, and education. Students taught them to check time; they sung and learnt various Rhymes. The idea was to sensitise the students towards disparity in the society.
