Independence Day

Salwan Montessori School proudly celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great patriotism and pride.

The day was dedicated to honouring our freedom fighters, with the entire school adorned in tricolour, creating a vibrant and spirited atmosphere. The event was a great success, as the children enjoyed watching their peers dressed as freedom fighters deliver flamboyant performances. They also danced to various patriotic songs, adding to the festive spirit.

The celebration was a magnificent success, earning widespread appreciation and instilling a deep sense of pride in everyone involved.

Janmashtami Celebration

Do everything you have to do, but not with greed, not with ego, not with envy but with Love, compassion, humility and devotion.

 The day of love and fortune is the day of birth of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at the Salwan Montessori School on Friday, 23 August 2024 with mirth and joy. Dressed as Radha and Krishna, the cute little ones added a traditional touch to the entire celebration when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit. Children enjoyed their fun-filled arts and crafts activities.

The celebration was truly informative, enlightening, and entertaining for the young learners.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration

“The bonding between a brother and a sister is simply unique and is beyond description in words. The priceless thread of Rakhi symbolizes the deep love between a brother and sister”.

 Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at Salwan Montessori School with love and happiness on Friday, 16 August 2024. The celebration began with a special morning assembly, where a teacher spoke about the significance of the occasion. This was followed by a captivating story enactment by the teachers, honouring the bond and love between brothers and sisters.

Students then performed captivating dances, emphasising the mutual protection, support, and love between siblings for a better tomorrow. Additionally, a few students visited the nearest police station to tie Rakhis to police personnel, expressing their gratitude for their protection.
