The program aimed to refine teaching methodologies and strengthen educators’ abilities to deliver the Yoga (841) skill course effectively, as outlined in the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The resource persons provided comprehensive guidance on content mastery, including foundational and advanced Yoga techniques, and emphasized the importance of innovative teaching approaches. They also explored Yoga’s role in enabling students’ mental, physical, and emotional development while highlighting its alignment with the NEP’s vision of holistic education.
Practical applications for integrating Yoga into classroom teaching were discussed, ensuring a balance between theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. This training reinforced the value of skill-based education and equipped educators with tools to promote mindfulness, stress management, and physical fitness among students.
