Science Exhibition
Salwan Boys Sr. Sec. School organized a Science Exhibition on 22nd October 2024, as directed by the DoE, where students from all classes showcased their creativity through poster making, slogan writing, and scientoon making. The best entries were selected for the Zonal Competition held at RPVV, Link Road, on 14th and 16th November 2024. The following students excelled at the Zonals, bringing laurels to the school:
- Utsav Mishra (Class IX) secured 2nd position in scientoon making.
- Mayank Das (Class IX) secured 3rd position in poster making (Senior category).
- Ayush Kumar and Abhinav Mishra (Class IX) won 2nd position in science project making.
Educational Excursions
Salwan Boys Sr. Sec. School organized an excursion for classes VII to IX to Joygaon, a rural-themed amusement park in Jhajjar, Haryana on 13 November 2024. Around 200 students, accompanied by their teachers, spent a day full of fun and excitement.
The students were thrilled as they boarded the bus, singing songs and playing games during the journey. Upon arrival, they enjoyed a delicious traditional breakfast before diving into activities like tug of war, volleyball, zip-lining, and camel rides.
The cultural activities, including pottery-making and folk-dance performances, fascinated everyone. Many students eagerly tried crafting pots themselves. Recreational games like swimming and trampoline jumping kept the energy high.
The students enjoyed the day. It was a refreshing experience for them to bond, relax, and experience the charm of rural life.
