Ambience Diplomacy Summit 2024
The Ambience Diplomacy Summit 2024 at Ambience Public School, New Delhi, featured 38 students participating in various committees, engaging in high-level discussions on global issues such as human rights and space exploration. The school proudly received the Best School Delegation award, recognising the participants’ outstanding diplomatic skills, teamwork, and dedication. This achievement reflects their hard work, preparation, and passion for international affairs, supported by the faculty and staff. The summit was a valuable opportunity for students to develop and showcase their diplomatic abilities.
Desh Aur Hum 3.0
The ‘DESH AUR HUM 3.0’ orientation ceremony took place at DAV Public School, Sector- 49, Gurugram on Monday, 05 August 2024. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by distinguished guests: Mr. Mahesh Shah (IRS batch 1994), Ms. Seema Dhankhar (IRS NADT), Mr. Paramjit Khanna (Secretary of Salwan Trust), Principal, Rashmi Malik (Salwan Public School, Gurgaon), Principal, Ms. Dipinder Kaur (Lions Public School, Gurgaon).
The program included a spiritual dance and a soul-awakening performance by the school choir. Mr. Paramjit Khanna delivered a powerful speech addressing issues such as tax evasion and the responsibilities of citizens towards the nation. Mr. Mahesh Shah delivered the Keynote Address, emphasising the goal of DESH AUR HUM 3.0 to reach every school in India.
Ms. Rashmi Malik provided constructive feedback and insights, explaining the theme and various competition modules of DESH AUR HUM 3.0. She detailed the registration and submission process, and the session concluded with a Q&A segment where she addressed the participants’ queries.
The information shared was clear and constructive, and the audience was enthusiastic about participation.
District Legal Literacy Competition
Salwan Public School, Gurugram hosted the District Level Legal Literacy competition. The competition was organised by the School Education Department of Haryana in collaboration with the Haryana State Legal Service Authority. The event saw a participation of more than 240 students across 10 different competitions. District Education Officer – Captain Indu Boken Kasana was the Chief Guest of the event. The participants took part in a plethora of competitions based on a total of 18 themes.
Fin-Reel It: An Inter School Competition
On Saturday, 03 August 2024, Delhi Public School, Sector- 45, Gurugram organised an Inter-School competition for the E-Comm Tech Parv 2024. The online event, ‘Fin-Reel’ was a reel making competition and it greatly helped students learn how to create professional videos and to conduct in-depth research on topics related to finance and commerce. Students of class X participated in the competition. A reel on any one of the given two topics, was to be made –‘Beware of little expenses’, Don’t work for money, make it work for you !
Independence Day Celebrations
Salwan Public School, Gurugram, celebrated Independence Day with great patriotism. The event featured the national flag unfurling by Principal Ms. Rashmi Malik, an NCC march past, and student performances highlighting India’s cultural heritage. Ms. Malik’s speech emphasized patriotism, skill development, and a vision for a ‘Viksit Bharat.’ She also inaugurated the ‘Hunar Mela,’ celebrating local artisans. The event included traditional games, sapling distribution, and a Tiranga Yatra, concluding with the National Anthem and a heartfelt vote of thanks.
Independence Day Procession by NCC
To mark Independence Day Celebrations, 13 NCC students of the school went to Government Model Sanskrit School for the Independence Day Parade. Students participated in a marching band performance and received appreciation medals for it. Police Contingent also marched on the tunes played by young Salwanians.

Module 1 of the ‘Heartfulness Experience Life’s Potential (HELP)’ is a transformative journey designed to help individuals unlock their full potential through the practice of Heartfulness meditation. Module 2 of the programme offers participants a unique opportunity to connect deeply with their inner selves, fostering personal growth, emotional balance and spiritual well-being. Module 3 of the ‘Heartfulness Experience Life’s Potential (HELP)’ focused on ‘The Power of Thoughts,’ offering valuable insights and practical exercises. The session featured Dr. Emoto Masaru’s research on how thoughts influence water crystals, highlighting the impact of positive and negative thinking. Students engaged in self-reflection, exploring their qualities to foster personal growth. The session emphasised the importance of a positive mindset for overall well-being, providing transformative tools to enhance thoughts, actions, and emotional balance.

Ms. Rashmi Malik, Principal, SPS Gurugram, was nominated by CBSE for National Teachers Award 2024 amongst top 6 principals of 29000+ CBSE schools.
NCERT Digital Creativity and AI Skills
Adobe and CBSE jointly have launched a new project, a training session for the same was arranged by Adobe on Monday, 27 May 2024. The purpose of this collaboration was to give knowledge to the teachers of India about the digitalization of different tools in our curriculum as per our market demand.
NCERT organised a teacher training programme on Wednesday, 31 July 2024 in collaboration with Adobe (AI) tools for teachers as well as students. Dr. Pampa, headed the programme as the resource person. She explained how students are amalgamating traditional methodology with AI tools in Art classes. The programme was broadcasted on NCERT’s YouTube channel.
New World Records by Nairanjana Radhika
Nairanjana Radhika from grade VI of SPS Gurugram successfully laid a benchmark by bagging awards for Asian Book of Records and India Book of Records. The award ceremony, wherein the shining star got honoured by Dr. Biswarup Roy Chaudhury and Chief Editor, Neerja Roy Chowdhuri, was telecasted on Sudarshan News Channel. In addition to this, on Monday, 26 August 2024, Ardee City Residents Welfare Association organised Janmashtami Utsav, wherein she was awarded with the certificate, trophy and a cash prize of Rs 16000 by Mr. Kapil Ahlawat, ACP Mrs. Suman Bhankhar HCS, Joint Commission (MCG).
Samvid 3.0
‘SAMVID -3.0’ is an interdisciplinary event, under the aegis of Gurgaon Progressive Schools Council that exhorts simulation, assimilation, awareness and application of knowledge. This event aims to empower and engage students through integrated thinking processes and engage in immersive learning. The final round of SAMVID 3.0, an Inter-School competition was held on Friday, 23 August, 2024 at Rotary Public School, Gurugram. Rudra Parmar and Enakshi of V A participated in the event ‘Legends Retold’ and narrated the classical tale ‘Hansel and Gretel’ set against the backdrop of the modern world, with the title ‘Hansel and Gretel in the Modern World’. Their presentation, enriched with digital media visuals, was highly praised, securing them a well-deserved Second position in the competition.
TechnoPreneur (The Green Pitch): An Inter School Competition
On Saturday, 03 August 2024, ‘TechnoPreneur’ was organised by Delhi Public School, Sector-45, Gurugram, as a part of e-COMM Tech Parv 2024. For this event, a business idea for products made from agro-waste was to be presented along with an app by the participants. Various schools from all over Delhi-NCR participated in the event. From SPS Gurugram, Kushal Makkar and Pankti Gaur of Class XII participated in the competition and secured the third position. The focus on sustainability and the creative use of agro-waste were commendable, making it a valuable educational experience for all involved.
‘Trade and Taste Show’
‘Thinking is the Capital, Enterprise is the Way, Hard work is the Solution’
On 13 August 2024, SPS Gurugram organised a Trade and Taste Show, igniting entrepreneurial spirit among students from classes VI to XII. They showcased and sold self-made items, including food and crafts, at creatively decorated stalls. The event, inaugurated by the Principal and Vice Principal, aimed to provide hands-on business experience, nurturing critical thinking, financial skills, and leadership. It was a resounding success, offering students valuable insights into business management and essential life skills in a fun and memorable setting.
XPERIA 2024
On 03 August 2024, an Interschool Science Competition, XPERIA 2024 was organised by Bal Bharati Public School, Manesar. Two students of Class V participated in Science Showcase Extravaganza and secured third position. These students performed their experiment based on Gravitational Force and Density.
