State Level Painting Competition

SPS Rajendra Nagar feels proud to share that Souvik Sasmal of Class X-D has been awarded a Consolation Prize at the State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation. The event was organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India on November 14, 2024, at the Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, Chanakyapuri, Delhi. Souvik’s outstanding artistic talent and creativity have earned him this well-deserved recognition. This accomplishment not only brings pride to Souvik but also to our school community.

Business Blasters Club

SPS Rajendra Nagar students od class XIth of Business Blasters Club showcased their entrepreneurial flair by setting up a stall featuring eco-friendly products on 26th October 2024. They promoted the use of organic manure, liquid fertiliser, and scented soy wax candles, all crafted in-house products on sale, with sustainability in mind. Students took charge of costing, pricing, and promotion, creating detailed labels and a promotional board to attract buyers to the Parent-Teacher Meeting. Post-event, they calculated their profits, learning valuable lessons in financial management and business strategy. The stall not only generated profit but also raised environmental awareness, marking a successful blend of innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.

International School Origami Competition

SPS Rajendra Nagar delighted to share that Hiral Suvasiya of Class X D has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the First Position in the Senior Category (Solo) at the International School Origami Competition organized by Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi on 14 November 2024. The theme of the event ‘Famous Monument’. Hiral’s exceptional skill and creativity in origami earned her the top spot in the competition. Her accomplishment is a testament to her talent, dedication, and passion for origami, and we are proud to have her as part of our school community.

Book Launch

Echoes of Liberation: A Literary Milestone: Selecting students with a creative bent of mind from SPS Rajinder Nagar, along with Neetu Bhateja (TGT English) had the privilege to attend the book launch of ‘Kunjikkali’s Echoes of Liberation’ by Prof. Jayalekshmi at the India International Centre, New Delhi. The event, graced by luminaries like Shri R. Venkataramani, Padma Shri Dr. Meenakshi Gopinath, and Shri K. J. Alphons was a grand celebration of literature and social empowerment. Three budding writers from our school—Nishka Malik (Class XII), Akshat Singh (Class XI), and Tara Sabharwal (Class X)—were honoured with copies of the book, marking a proud moment for the school. The students were inspired by the narrative and interactions with the distinguished guests, leaving with a deeper understanding of literature and social justice.

Mind Sparks Competition

SPS RN feels proud to share that Arshveen Kaur and Prisha Sikka from Class XI secured the First Position in the Mind Sparks Competition held at SPS Gurugram on October 19, 2024, with their innovative project, Window of Hope. Under the guidance of Shilpa Raghuvanshi Chauhan, PGT Biotechnology, the students developed a smart window prototype as part of an in-house research initiative.

Designed to reduce energy waste by optimising room temperature, this prototype offers a sustainable solution for temperature regulation in buildings, showcasing practical and eco-friendly advancements in building design. 

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan

Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar Students Shine at Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan. The school is proud to announce that the students have excelled in the online exam of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) and have qualified for the State Level Camp 2024-2025. The camp is scheduled to be held on December 22, 2024, at the National Science Centre, Pragati Maidan. Following students showcased their intellectual skills and scientific reasoning ability to qualify for VVM:

Champions Again: Salwan Leads Zonal Athletics 2024-25: Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, hosted the Zonal Athletics Meet 2024-25 organised by the Directorate of Education from 24th to 26th October 2024 in the school grounds. The event brought together top athletes from across the zone, all competing in high intensity ‘Throws’ events for both boys and girls. Delhi State Cricket Tournament Under 19

SPS Rajendra Nagar is proud to share the remarkable achievement of Jayesh Kain of Class XII represented Zone 28 in the Delhi State Cricket Tournament Under 19, held from November 1 to 14, 2024, at the Bharat Nagar Cricket Ground, Ashok Vihar, New Delhi. In a thrilling finale, the Zone 28 team emerged as champions, defeating Zone 26 by 8 wickets. Jayesh Kain played a vital role in the team’s success and is awarded a cash prize of Rs. 3100 and a Certificate of Merit from the Directorate of Education, Department of Sports. We congratulate Jayesh on his outstanding achievement and wish him continued success in his cricketing endeavours.
