Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City, conducted an enriching training session on “Financial Literacy” for the students of the classes VIII and IX to instil awareness on becoming financially literate in areas such as Banking, Stock Market and Real Estate. The session was conducted by Ms Parichita, Founder, Young Wealth Creators Organisation who gave an insight into various digital tools and made students aware about financial frauds.
Students’ Interaction with Art Professors at Delhi College of Art

In pursuit of attaining the highest standards of art and aesthetics, the aspiring artists of Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City, visited the Delhi College of Art.
They were fascinated by the paintings and artefacts on display and the unique glimpse offered by all the objects and paintings, into the culture and heritage of India. They interacted with art professors and widened their knowledge and understanding. They also enjoyed live sketching, colouring and painting.
Holds Graduation Day Ceremony
Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City, conducted Graduation Day Ceremony on 29 March 2023 for primary school. Around 600 parents graced the occasion with their benign presence.
The graduation ceremony started with seeking blessings of goddess Saraswati with an enchanting dance performance by the school children. This was followed by the smart tiny tots of preprimary and primary, dressed in graduation robes and caps, walking up to the stage and speaking about their enthralling school journey.
The school principal Ms. Sunita Madan along with Director Brig. Rajiv Minocha felicitated the students with a certificate of graduation. The tiny tots looked stunning in their graduation robes and caps. Their smiling faces were welcomed by rapturous applause from the audience as they received scrolls of merit on the stage. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the little ones as they received their graduation certificates from the dignitaries. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by the headmistress of Junior Wing, Ms. Surbhi Monga.
Parent Orientation Programme

Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City, organised an Orientation Programme for parents of classes Nursery – IX on 01 April 2023 to ensure a positive learning environment and to build a healthy relationship between parents, teachers and students, as well as to familiarise them with the current academic session’s curriculum and assessment pattern.
Mrs. Sunita Madan, the school’s principal, praised the children’s accomplishments and emphasised the need of collaborating with parents to maintain student discipline. Parents were made aware of the school’s efforts to help students learn better.
Vice Principal Ms. Namita Sarbahi and Headmistress Mrs. Surbhi Monga introduced the school staff and updated parents regarding the school’s various activities.
Mock Drill on Fire Safety
Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City conducted a Mock Drill on Fire Safety for the Classes V to VII as a part of Fire Safety Week being organised from 14th April – 22nd April, 2023. Mr. Gaurav Kumar, an Officer, Fire Department, Tronica City, Ghaziabad demonstrated strategic techniques to combat emergency situations during fire.
Demonstration and hands-on learning by using fire safety equipment like fire extinguishers and first aid tips were the highlights of the event.
Inauguration of Salwan Learning Lounge
Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City added another feather in its cap by inaugurating Salwan Learning Lounge (an activity room for tiny tots) and nursery classroom with new furniture. The school heads, faculty, enthusiastic parents graced the event with their presence.
The inauguration began with the auspicious Ganesh Vandana, followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony where the little Salwanians unveiled the new establishment.
The event showcased the school’s dedication to provide a rich and stimulating learning environment for the young learners.
Bidding Farewell to Outgoing Class XII Students
“People say that goodbyes are hard, and especially when it comes to saying one to an institution where one has spent thirteen long years, where one has been moulded from a child to a young man, where one has tasted every emotion possible.’’
The students, staff and management of Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City bade farewell to the outgoing students of Class XII on Saturday 29th April, 2023. The farewell was planned and managed by the current Class XII students. It included a number of events performed by them for their seniors, who had held their hands as elder siblings.
A nostalgic video invoked memories and emotions of the outgoing batch, and certainly did make them very emotional. The students shared their cherished memories associated with the school. Teachers also wished them the best for all their future endeavours.
