On April 8th, 2024, Salwan Girls Sr. Sec. School embodied the spirit of inclusivity by hosting a vibrant ATL Community Day celebration. This event, aligned with the core values of the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) initiative, aimed to extend the reach of innovation and empower students beyond the walls of our school.
We welcomed enthusiastic students from various schools, transforming our classrooms into a bustling innovation festival. To spark their curiosity and ignite a passion for technology, we presented them with a series of engaging challenges.
The day commenced with a warm-up activity called “Catch if You Can,” designed to ease nerves and encourage collaboration. This was followed by a design-thinking activity where students put their creativity to the test.
Throughout the event, the emphasis remained on the core tenets of the ATL initiative: “Do it yourself,” “Teamwork,” and “Innovation for All.” This focus fostered a collaborative environment where students actively participated, learned from one another, and discovered the joy of innovation.
