Excursions play a vital role in enriching the knowledge of children and are always a source of joyous bonding with friends.

On February 24, 2023, School organised a trip for the children of class VIII alongwith 3 teachers to the Amrit Udyan to make the students familiar with different types of flora in the environment. The children were extremely excited and filled with anticipation as they were told beforehand in the class about what they could expect to see. They were thus fairly familiar with the names of shrubs, creepers, climbers and seasonal flowers that they were likely to spot at the park.

The students first visited the herbal garden to witness the different types of herbs and were made aware about their medicinal value. After that they proceeded to the rose garden and circular garden where they saw the different varieties of tulips and roses.

This educational excursion was very informative and thrilling as it enhanced the students’ knowledge.
