Diwali, the festival of lights, symbolizing the victory of good over evil was celebrated with gaiety and fervour in all the school campuses.
All Salwan Schools celebrated Diwali with a great zeal and fervor Abuzz with excitement and camaraderie, special assemblies were conducted to mark the significance of Diwali. All the school wore a festive look with diyas, pots, candles and lanterns adorning the premises. The students were encouraged to have an eco-friendly and safe Diwali.
SPS RN- Taking inspiration from Mahatama Gandhi’s ideologies about mindful and conscious consumption and the Sustainable Development Goals 2033, the students of the school participated in a Donation Drive.
Silent March on Eco- Friendly Diwali- Diwali Awareness March was organised by Little Salwanians in the school to spread the message and get everyone involved in a Green Diwali celebration.
Rangoli Making Competition was held in the SPS Boys School wherein the students of classes IX participated enthusiastically.
United We Stand, Divided We Fall: Celebrating Rashtriya Ekta Diwas
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2022 marks the 147th birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The essence of the day was highlighted by all the SET schools to spread the message of Unity and Diversity.
Students were made to take a pledge wherein they promised to always stand united and walk on the footsteps of Sardar Patel and make the country proud by keeping his vision of United India alive.
Dussehra/Durga Puja Celebration
GDSPS celebrated the spirit of Durga Puja with great joy and fervor. The program was attended by staff members, parents and grandparents of the students. A grand cultural program by students of GDSPS and Salwan Public school was showcased on Ashtami and Navami. The scintillating beats of the dhak, melodious songs added to the spirit of the Navratri festivities.
To Celebrate the victory of 'Good over evil', the shinning stars of Salwan Montessori School got together to celebrate Dussehra with great pomp and show. The children mesmerized everyone with their unique narrations of Ramayana and the zeal with which they conducted the show was unparalleled. They were dressed in beautiful dresses and spoke their lines with immense confidence. They recited the Shlokas, Narrated the story, and danced to the tunes of Dandiya songs with full on energy. They also extended their prayers to Goddess Durga by showcasing a few glimpses of Durga Puja Celebration. It was a wonder show and added tremendous zeal to the festive fervor.
Gandhi Jayanti Celebration
Salwan Montessori School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with a lot of enthusiasm. To commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri, second Prime-Minister of independent India, a special assembly was organized to assimilate the teachings of these two great leaders. Students were exposed to the life and struggle of Mahatma Gandhi and Shastri ji through effective video clippings and motivated to imbibe the exemplary qualities of simple living and high thinking which are so valuable and relevant in today's world.
Grand Parent’s Day Celebration
Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions. Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honor them Salwan Montessori School – celebrated Grandparents with extreme zest & zeal.
Heartfelt sharing was done by the grandparents wherein they appreciated the school and the teachers for all efforts made. The general mood was one of exultation and everyone seemed truly happy.
