As a part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of Salwan Education Trust, Christmas was celebrated with great zest on 23rd December 2016 to uphold the spirit of Universal Brotherhood and Secularism. The programme commenced with a prayer and carols sung by the school choir. The students of Salwan Girls and Salwan Boys School presented a Santhali Dance showcasing the traditional Christmas Celebrations of Jharkhand. The students of Salwan Montessori School and Primary Wing of the School presented ‘The Christmas Play’ depicting glimpses of the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. The Merry-Dances of the tiny Elves, Santas, reindeers, fairies and angels enthralled one and all.

The Chief Guest, the Archbishop of Delhi, His Grace Reverend Anil Joseph Thomas Couto emphasized on the teachings of Lord Christ and their relevance in present times.
