ATL Exhibition

The ATL Exhibition, held on August 14 2024, was a resounding success, showcasing the innovative spirit and problem-solving abilities of our students. The event provided a platform for seventeen STEM projects, each aligned with specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to be presented to the school community.

7 projects were developed through the Shell NXplorers program. We extend special thanks to Shell and Learning Links Foundation, along with the dedicated NXplorers facilitator (Mr Aman Gupta- www.linkedin.com/in/aman-gupta-135b8849 ) in Delhi for their exceptional guidance and support. Their efforts empower our students to think critically and creatively in addressing real-world challenges and developing sustainable solutions related to food, water, and energy.

The exhibition was meticulously organised to highlight the diverse range of projects undertaken by students. Each project was displayed in an engaging manner, with students enthusiastically explaining their concepts, methodologies, and outcomes to visitors.

The event was graced by Ms. Sunanda Rao (Regional Mentor of change,Delhi) and Mr. Praveen Sharma ( Regional Mentor of change, Delhi).

Visitors expressed appreciation for the opportunity to witness the innovative solutions proposed by the students.

Clean To Green

A Session, under the campaign name ‘Awareness on Environmental Hazards of Waste’, was organised by Clean to Green under ‘Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’& ‘Digital India Initiative with the intention of fostering awareness among Residents Welfare Associations, Schools, Colleges, Retailers, Bulk Consumers, and Institutionalizing the Informal sector. Since its inception in 2017, the campaign has conducted a series of online and on-ground initiatives across India.

The session was a successful endeavour to educate students in classes 7 and 8 about the growing concern of e-waste. The students were introduced to the concept of e-waste, its environmental impact, and the importance of proper disposal.

To reinforce understanding, the session included a video demonstrating the correct procedure for segregating and recycling e-waste. The students were shown how to categorize different types of electronic waste and the proper channels for disposal.

Inspired by the session, the students took the initiative to organize an e-waste drive within their school. This hands-on activity allowed them to apply their newly acquired knowledge and contribute directly to environmental conservation.
